LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES


The National Association of Minority Veterans of America is a leadership-based organization.    We believe that leaders have the vision, energy and capacity to to move a shared objective forward.   Within NAMVETS of America, leaders are in every echelon of the organization; at the National, Regional, State and Chapter level.    If you interest in being a leader within NAMVETS and you believe that you have the integrity and leadership characteristics to have such authority, then pursue one of the opportunities list below.


REGIONAL COMMANDER
NAMVETS OF AMERICA consists of five regions, each with at least 8 to 10 states.   The Regional Commander is an leader with the vision to provide guidance and support to all State Commanders in the Region, and to coordinate the development of the Region with the National Commander and the Executive Director.    The Regional Commander oversees all regional planning, state command development and other critical regional development issues.   The regional commander also develops a budget.   This position is a paid position depending on available funding.    The Regional Commander should be a veteran or someone with close ties to the veteran community.   The position will require a great communicator, the ability to develop and implement a strategic plan, an ability to develop and cultivate relationships throughout the region and the ability to represent NAMVETS of America with integrity and honor.   The Regional Commander serves on the National Command Council.   This position reports directly to the National Commander and the candidate must be approved by the National Executive Command Council.    To apply, contact us - click here.
STATE COMMANDER
NAMVETS OF AMERICA consists of five regions, each with at least 8 to 10 states.   The State Commander is an leader with the vision to provide guidance and support to all Chapter Commanders in their State Command, and to coordinate the development of the State Command with the Regional Commander and the Executive Director.    The State Commander oversees all State-wide planning, state command development and other critical regional development issues.   The State Commander also develops a budget.   This position is a paid position depending on available funding.    The State Commander should be a veteran or someone with close ties to the veteran community.   The position will require a great communicator, the ability to develop and implement a strategic plan, an ability to develop and cultivate relationships throughout the region and the ability to represent NAMVETS of America with integrity and honor.   The State Commander serves on a Regional Command Council, which is chaired by the Regional Commander.   This position reports directly to the Regional Commander and the candidate must be approved by the National Executive Command Council.  To apply, contact us - click here.

NATIONAL LIAISON FOR HISPANIC/LATINO AMERICAN VETERANS

NATIONAL LEGISLATIVE DIRECTOR

NATIONAL FUND DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
NAMVETS of America is looking for a National Fund Development Director (NFDD).   The NFDD has the experience and knowledge to develop, promote and implement its fund development plan, at all levels of the organization.   The NFDD, coordinates fund development efforts at the state and local levels.  This position is a paid position, when funding allows.   This position reports directly to the Executive Director.   To apply, contact us - click here.
